Fiddler's Green features the following:

• Six instrumental tracks (mostly fiddle) selected from five of Blix Street's best Celtic CDs.
• Máire Breatnach (the original fiddler from Riverdance) contributes six tracks from her groundbreaking Angels Candles CD.
• The Arty McGlynn/Nollaig Casey classic Lead The Knave CD is represented by Nollaig's mournful fiddle heard on "Cape Clear" and "Caoineadh Eoghain Ruadh" plus Arty's upbeat virtuoso guitar arrangement of "The Hunter's Purse."
• The fiddle of Aly Bain graces "Da Trowie Burn" from The Boys of the Lough's Midwinter Night's Dream CD.
• Two tracks are from Connemara's SirenSong (one featuring Grace Griffith on penny whistle and the other Wash. DC fiddler Cathy Palmer).

The CD is rounded out with four tracks from Taos' The Deepening Edge which adds the spice of Michael Mandrell's acoustic guitar, Peter Barbeau's soprano sax and Phil Hollenbeck's tablas to go along with Max Dyer's cello also featured on "Waterwheel."
